Residential
Residential dumpster rental in Shreveport.
Remodels, flooring, garage cleanouts and yard projects — a roll-off in the driveway so the debris goes straight out the door and into the box.
Where it goes
Pick a flat spot the truck can back straight into.
A roll-off truck needs room to back up in a straight line and some clearance overhead. Look up for low limbs and power lines before you pick the spot. Most driveways work fine; the end of the driveway closest to the street is usually easiest.
Loading
Heavy on the bottom, flat on top.
Put heavy, flat things in first and break down furniture and cabinets so they lie flat. Nothing should stick up over the top edge — an overloaded dumpster cannot be hauled on the road safely.
Neighbors
Check your HOA.
Some neighborhoods in Shreveport and Bossier have rules about how long a dumpster can sit in a driveway. If you have an HOA, a quick check before delivery saves a letter later.
Common questions
Questions about this.
Do I have to be home for delivery?
Not usually. Mark the spot, make sure the driveway is clear and the truck can get in, and it can be set down without you there.
